Great service and food choices and meals were excellent. ordered the lobster raviol, snapper with steamed veggies. What a meal.
There really aren't a ton of good sit-down restaurants in the 529/Fry area, but this one is an exception. The restaurant is rather small, in a busy strip center. This was about the third or fourth time we visited and it is always a solid choice. The seating area is nicely decorated and there were many customers but no wait on a Friday night. We were seated promptly upon arrival and the waitstaff was friendly and attentive throughout our meal. The dinner rolls that are served at the beginning of the meal were not spectacular but we did appreciate the butter/parmesan on the top. I ordered lasagna which came with a side salad that was cold and crisp. The lasagna was very good-I ate the whole thing! The rest of my family shared a Caesar salad and XL meat pizza which they enjoyed and were able to bring some leftovers home. The prices really are good-our whole dinner, including 2 glasses of wine was only $61 (pre-tip) which is much less than our usual Friday night dinner. It's a great choice if you are in the area.
Service was absolutely phenomenal! I ordered Alfredo to share with my 3 year old and we were stuffed. I was incredibly impressed with how good the food is for the prices. I will definitely be coming back with family and friends!
Everything was really good, food and service was excellent! The restaurant had a few customer and the decor and the feel of the place seem nice and calm. What we ordered: Appetizers - Italian Sampler (fried mushroom, fried mozzarella & toasted ravioli) - Mussels Marinara My favorite from the appetizer was the toasted ravioli. Entrees - Pasta Alfredo (I asked for the fried chicken) - Zuppa de Pesce (Mussels, clams, shrimps and crawfish sauté with white wine, olive oil, basil, and spicy marinara sauce with linguine pasta) The pasta was so creamy, and I really enjoyed my dish! My husband ordered the seafood pasta, and he must have loved it because he finished his whole plate. Lol We wanted dessert but was so full. We will definitely be back.
This is a nice casual smallish restaurant with bar (3 tv screens for sports visible from most every spot) and the service was very very good. The spaghetti and meatballs was delicious. The meatballs are some of the best I have ever had. They served a garlic toast with cheese that was delicious and reminded me of a lovely Italian woman in our neighborhood who would make this when I was a kid as a snack treat. There were several people at our table and we all agreed we were a little disappointed in the appetizers. The calamari was lackluster as were the fried ravioli. The mushrooms were not edible they were mushy and dripping with grease inside - frozen I suspect. Other than the appetizers it was a very positive experience.
